Dan Burke has written numerous books on Catholic mystical tradition and is the Founder of the Avila Institute, which provides spiritual formation for priests, religious, and laity in more than 90 countries, and priestly formation around the world. He is also the founder of the worldwide Catholic community of Apostoli Viae.
Stephanie Burke is an international speaker, retreat master, spiritual director, and head of the Catholic Community of Apostoli Viae’s healing apostolate. She is also the co-author of an upcoming book entitled Divine Intimacy in Marriage.

This retreat is designed to give couples the rare gift of focused time together, away from the usual demands of family life. We want you to be fully present — to each other and to God. For this reason, we ask that children do not attend, with the exception of nursing babies in arms.
Absolutely. This retreat is for any married couple who wants to grow in love and draw closer to God together. Your spouse is warmly welcome, whatever their faith background.

The retreat is held at the Copthorne Hotel, Palmerston North, New Zealand.
Registration opens at 8:00 AM on Friday 22 January, with sessions beginning at 9:00 AM. The retreat concludes at 12:30 PM on Sunday 24 January. If you are travelling from out of town, we strongly encourage arriving on Thursday evening.
